Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Construction Worker role based in Topeka, KS. The Construction Worker will assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing, including forming, pouring, and setting foundations, slabs, and other structural elements. Daily responsibilities include preparing and cleaning job sites, loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, and supporting masonry, flooring, and renovation tasks as needed. The role also involves following safety procedures, assisting skilled trades professionals, and performing measurements, basic layout work, and quality checks to ensure projects meet specifications.
Team members are expected to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, collaborate effectively with crew leaders, and maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
- Practical experience or strong interest in Construction, including working on job sites, handling materials, and using basic tools.
- Skills or background in Masonry, such as working with concrete, bricks, blocks, or stonework.
- Experience or aptitude in Flooring tasks, including surface preparation, installation support, and finishing work.
- Exposure to Renovation projects, including demolition support, site preparation, and assisting with repairs or upgrades.
- Ability to perform basic Research related to materials, methods, and safety guidelines as directed by supervisors.
- Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company standards.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the Topeka, KS job site and willingness to work standard and occasional extended hours.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills; ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior construction or concrete experience is a plus but not strictly required.
$20–$30+ per hour, depending on experience. In addition to competitive hourly pay, this position includes the following benefits:

Paid Time Off (PTO): 1 week of PTO accrued from start date; increases to 2 weeks after 3 years of service.
