Job Summary
We are hiring an Emergency Response Tire Technician for semi‑truck fleets
. The technician will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires when a failure occurs. When there are no service calls, technicians will handle shop maintenance and general duties.
Starting pay: $19 per hour (training) – $25 per hour (experienced). Example shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Friday. The position requires participation in a mandatory on‑call rotation for after‑hours service calls, with guaranteed two‑hour minimum and double pay per call.
Location4431 NW Hwy 24, Topeka, KS.
Responsibilities- Respond to emergency tire failures and perform repairs or replacements at customer locations.
- Disassemble and mount commercial tires, perform match mounting, radial runout, and inflation to prescribed PSI.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety procedures, including proper PPE and tire cage use.
- Assist with shop organization, order mounting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous commercial service tire experience.
