USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Repair, adjust, overhaul, and maintain heavy mobile equipment and special purpose vehicles.;
Perform initial and in-process inspections and mechanical diagnostics to locate defects and determine causes of malfunction.;
Conduct preventive maintenance including lubrication, adjustments, and minor part replacements to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.;
Inspect repairs, overhauls and tests of major systems including gasoline, diesel, electric powered hybrid, multi-fuel, turbine, and other internal combustion engines and associated transmissions and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
