We are currently seeking PRN Youth Care Workers to join our Psychiatric Residential Treatment team. If you are 21 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent, you are already on your way. We will teach you everything else you need to know.
What a Day Looks Like as a Youth Care Worker IEvery day brings opportunities to make a difference. As a Youth Care Worker I you will:
- Start the day by greeting residents and setting a positive, encouraging tone
- Lead engaging activities - from group discussions to creative projects
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to help youth build healthy habits and coping skills
- Reinforce positive behaviors and ensure participation in daily programming
- Document progress and collaborate with the treatment team on individualized care plans
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal supervision or laundry
- Transport residents to appointments or activities while ensuring safety and structure
Your role is more than supervision - it is about being a steady, supportive presence in a young person’s life.
