Position: Youth Care Worker I

Average hourly rate is $17.85 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, etc.).

About the Role

We are looking for Full‑time Youth Care Workers to join our Psychiatric Residential Treatment team. The ideal candidate is 21 or older, possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, and is excited to help at‑risk youth. No prior experience is required; training will be provided.

What a Day Looks Like as a Youth Care Worker
  • Start the day by greeting residents and setting a positive, encouraging tone
  • Lead engaging activities—from group discussions to creative projects
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to help youth build healthy habits and coping skills
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and ensure participation in daily programming
  • Document progress and collaborate with the treatment team on individualized care plans
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as meal supervision or laundry
  • Transport residents to appointments or activities while ensuring safety and structure
