Client Care Coordinator

Location: Topeka, KS

Position Summary: The Client Care Coordinator plays a central role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and empowering experience for women and families seeking services at Lifeline Women’s Resource Center. This full‑time position is responsible for navigating ongoing client care, providing pregnancy options counseling, administering pregnancy testing, helping clients navigate enrollment in Medicaid, connecting women with supportive relationships in local churches, evaluating client needs using matrix scoring tools, and facilitating group education classes that promote life skills, parenting confidence, and holistic well‑being.

• Act as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co‑workers, clients and ministry partners.
• Lead the team in alignment with scripture, praying, sharing scripture, modeling Jesus Christ’s character in interactions.
• Disciple employees for the benefit of ministry partners and clients.
• Align team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product with Biblical principles and Lifeline’s Core Values.
• Maintain good relationships with co‑workers, resolving disputes biblically.
• Represent the Agency professionally in and out of the office.
• Encourage church engagement efforts and biblical teaching on caring for vulnerable children.
• When qualified, conduct home studies, post‑placement or post‑adoption reports, and other related adoption services.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Support center events and outreach as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team culture rooted in compassion, respect, and excellence.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Team.

• Provide one‑on‑one client support through intake, follow‑up appointments, and ongoing care plans.
• Offer pregnancy options counseling that is compassionate, accurate, and client‑centered.
• Administer pregnancy testing and communicate results clearly and sensitively.
• Assist clients with Medicaid enrollment and help them understand eligibility and required steps.
• Assess client needs using matrix scoring to identify strengths, challenges, and appropriate next steps.
• Develop individualized care plans that connect clients with internal programs and community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions in accordance with center policies and confidentiality standards.

• Build and maintain partnerships with local churches to create supportive relational networks for clients.
• Match clients with church‑based mentors, small groups, or support ministries that align with their needs and preferences.
• Coordinate communication between the center, church partners, and clients to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing support.

• Lead or co‑facilitate group classes on prenatal care, parenting, life skills, and healthy relationships.
• Track attendance and participation to support client progress and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure classes are welcoming, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards.

• This position is designed to function as a flexible, team‑based role in support of Lifeline’s mission and operational needs.
• Employees may be asked to assist with responsibilities across programs, service areas, or state initiatives based on priorities, caseload demands, licensure qualifications, and supervisor direction.
• Any additional responsibilities will be consistent with the employee’s role classification, training, licensure, and FLSA status and will not fundamentally change the nature of the position.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, ministry, or a related field preferred; at least two years of undergraduate education or equivalent experience required.

Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in related work, preferred.
