Position: Center for Restorative Education (CRE) Case Manager

We are looking to hire a full-time Center for Restorative Education (CRE) Case Manager in Topeka
, KS. This position earns a competitive wage starting at $41,000 on an annual basis and works Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

Job Summary

The Center for Restorative Education (CRE) Case Manager will work closely with the CRE Supervisor to enroll referred participants into the CRE program and provide assessments, support planning, and delivery of services to youth in the program. The case manager will collaborate with program staff, parents/guardians, community professionals, and school personnel to ensure each youth’s goals are met. Professional boundaries and clear communication are essential in all interactions with youth and their families.

Job Functions
  • Assessment, Evaluation, Service Planning & Delivery
    • Conduct comprehensive youth assessments using approved, research‑based tools to identify strengths and needs.
    • Develop individualized support plans collaboratively with youth and parents/guardians, ensuring goals, tasks, and timelines are clearly defined.
    • Implement support plans in coordination with families, school staff, and community professionals, following agency protocols and timelines.
  • Crisis Intervention
    • Facilitate small‑group life skills sessions to promote youth wellbeing and teach essential coping and decision‑making skills.
    • Provide on‑site crisis intervention during program hours, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to youth in distress.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of community crisis services, substance misuse resources, and communicate service needs to families and professionals.
  • Communication
    • Build trusting, professional relationships with youth, families, school personnel, healthcare providers, and community partners through clear, transparent communication.
    • Facilitate communication among program staff regarding student progress, behavior, and support plan goals; report updates to the CRE Supervisor.
    • Prepare professional reports for the court and agency leadership, documenting academic progress, safety concerns, and wellbeing.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience providing case management or similar work with at‑risk youth and families.
