Position: KDHE - IT Programmer (C# .NET SQL)

Our client, a dedicated public service organization, is seeking a KDHE - IT Programmer (C# .NET SQL) to join their team. As a KDHE - IT Programmer (C# .NET SQL), you will be part of the Information Technology department supporting the development and maintenance of critical applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

KDHE - IT Programmer (C# .NET SQL)

Location

Topeka, Kansas — Must be able to work hybrid.

Compensation

Conversion Salary: $28.61 - $32.90/hour ($65,000/year).

Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze business needs to support IT system development.
  • Gather requirements and define scope and objectives for projects.
  • Develop programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts to guide software development.
  • Write efficient code using relevant programming languages to optimize organizational IT platforms.
  • Configure, customize, diagnose, and enhance vendor system software to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (technical school program in information technology or a related field preferred).
  • Experience coding, testing, and debugging application programs.
  • Proficiency in transforming software designs into functional code using programming languages such as C#, VB, , HTML, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of databases, including SQL and Oracle, and experience with Git Hub, JSON, and XML.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle for work‑related purposes.
