The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting the Driver Merchandiser with route deliveries and additional merchandising of all products. Excellent customer service skills are required. Driver Helpers monitor product date codes and rotate our products to ensure the best quality and freshness for our customers.
Job Responsibilities- Rides with the Driver Merchandiser to the accounts on the route. While at the account, helps transport product from the truck/trailer to the customer’s backroom or beverage area.
- Merchandise, display, and rotate product according to company standards.
- Provide polite and cordial customer service skills through positive in-person communication.
- Picks up company property from customer locations and collects returns.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of work experience required.
- Capable of traveling constantly between customer accounts.
- Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
