Ameritrack Rail is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to support rail track construction projects across Texas and Kansas. This role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery and occasionally performing track laborer duties. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and willing to travel for extended periods to job sites.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2-4 years of experience with heavy equipment operation
• Ability to operate backhoe, front-end loader, and similar equipment
• Willingness and ability to travel out of town for extended periods
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Certification required if operating on track controlled by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy weights and perform duties in various environments

• Previous experience with rail construction equipment
• Knowledge of laser and machine control
• Blueprint reading skills
• CDL license
