The Hangar Technician plays a critical role in delivering a safe, organized, and professional environment that directly supports flight operations and client experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the hangar, assisting flight crews, and ensuring aircraft and facilities consistently reflect the standards of a trusted professional aviation operation.
Hangar Technicians are expected to operate with urgency, attention to detail, and ownership, contributing to both operational excellence and the overall client perception of safety and care.
Reporting Structure
The Hangar Technician reports directly to the Hangar Technician Shift Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the hangar, ramp, and all associated equipment in a clean, organized, and fully operational condition at all times
- Actively participate in and support the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support the execution of consistent, high-quality aircraft and facility presentation standards
Core Duties
- Maintain all areas of the hangar in an extremely clean, organized, and presentable manner
- Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use
- Identify and communicate facility or equipment issues promptly
Aircraft Support
- Assist flight crews in the preparation and recovery of aircraft
- Perform aircraft stocking and cleaning in accordance with the Aircraft Servicing Checklist
- Ensure cabins are fully stocked, organized, and aligned with client expectations
- Tow aircraft safely on the ramp and within the hangar in accordance with procedures
Client & Vehicle Care
- Wash and vacuum client vehicles to company standards
- Monitor vehicle condition and report any issues or concerns to the Facilities Manager
- Support a seamless and professional client experience through attention to detail
Operational Support
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Hangar Technician Shift Lead or Facilities Manager
- Maintain readiness to respond to changing operational needs throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned duties with consistency and reliability
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment when working around aircraft, equipment, and clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards without constant supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Ability to work in various weather conditions on the ramp and in the hangar
- Ability to lift, push, and move equipment as required
- Comfortable working around aircraft, machinery, and operational activity
