Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused Track Laborers in Kansas to support track construction, maintenance, and inspection projects. This is a hands-on, outdoor role working as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient rail operations.

Learn more lserve.comJob Description In this role, you will perform physically demanding labor, assist with track installation and maintenance, and support field operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Full-time; schedule varies based on site and operational needs, including nights and weekends as required

Compensation:

Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Duties Drive spikes and assist with track installation and maintenance

Move and set cross ties and sections of rail Shovel ballast and support track alignment

Adjust and lubricate switches

Tighten track bolts and hardware

Check track gauge and cross level

Carry and use track tools and equipment (including track jack ~40 lbs)
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPEPerform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred

Ability to perform physically demanding labor in outdoor environments

Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment

Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on uneven terrain

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Basic math and reading comprehension skills

Military experience is a plus
