Corporate Jet Pilot; PIC​/SIC Organ & Medical Transport

Mission & Role

Based in Westwood, Kansas, you will fly company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures, while also contributing to scheduling, maintenance coordination, safety management, training, and essential administrative work that keeps the operation running at peak readiness.

• Serve as Pilot in Command or Second in Command, as assigned, adhering to all FAA regulations and company standards.
• Transport staff members and organ retrieval teams to and from donor recovery locations.
• Deliver tissue typing materials to HLA laboratories.
• Deliver donor organs to transplant centers with precision, care, and urgency.
• Maintain current pilot certificates, ratings, medical, and all required qualifications and currency.
• Support scheduling, maintenance coordination, safety management, training, and related administrative tasks.

• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP), fixed‑wing multi‑engine land.
• Required airman physical acquired and maintained.
• Meets minimum aircrew requirements for Pilot in Command.
• Appropriate flight experience in a similar make and type of aircraft operated by Midwest Transplant Network.
• Minimum 2,500 total flight hours, including:
  • 1,000 hours in jet turbine aircraft
  • 1,000 hours in multi‑engine aircraft
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command
• Type rating for Cessna 525 or similar; or ability to obtain a C525 type rating within 6 months of hire.
• English language proficiency.
