MATH & READING INTERVENTION TEACHER

2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR ONLY

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Washington State Teaching Certificate with proper endorsement required.

* ELA/Reading endorsement and Math endorsement preferred.

* EL certification/endorsement preferred.

* Experience and/or knowledge of the ELA and Math Common Core State Standards.

* Experience and/or knowledge of Danielson Instructional Framework.

* Broad knowledge base of ELA and Math curriculum, methods, and instructional strategies.

* Collect and analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and recommend Tier 2 & Tier 3 instructional interventions.

* Provide targeted math and ELA interventions to individual students and small groups.

* Monitor and adjust interventions based on data to ensure student growth and success.

* Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.

* Must be willing to work with small-groups or one-on-one instruction in math and reading.

* Ability to establish and maintain a professional and positive working relationship with students, families, community and staff from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds.

* Experience and demonstrated success in a high school educational setting teaching Math/Reading preferred.

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS

Yearly Salary Range: $58,626 - $110,545 (Depending on Experience & Education)
