Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team! This position is located at the Astria Toppenish Hospital in our Emergency Department.

Shift: 12 Hour shift, more information will be provided.

What you get to do every day:

As the Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse according to the scope of practice of nursing assistants. You will:

• Provide designated comfort measures and general hygiene for patients, including bathing, oral care, and linen change, provided in an appropriate and safe manner.
• Contribute to the planning process by communicating appropriate information in a timely and accurate manner to the RN.
• Accurately obtain, report, and document vital signs (VS), intake & output (I&O), weights, and other patient data as assigned.
• Assist Physician/RN with procedures when needed.
• Transport patients or items to or from different departments and accurately record patient items and/or information to be transferred.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Adhere to the core values and standards of the organization.

• High School Graduation or GED.
• Current BLS certification.

• Minimum six months’ experience as a Nursing Assistant.
