We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Summer Student to join our Operations team. This role offers meaningful exposure to property operations, national portfolio processes, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will support several core operational initiatives that ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistent service delivery across our portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist with the annual unit-by-unit suite inspections across assigned properties.
- Complete inspection reports accurately and thoroughly.
- Upload and organize inspection documentation for record-keeping and audit purposes.
- Support the development and implementation of a centralized tracking system for critical certificates and testing (e.g., life safety systems, generator testing, roof anchor inspections).
- Ensure compliance documents are retained, organized, and monitored at the asset level.
- Contribute to a national rollout that improves visibility and accountability across the portfolio.
- Partner with site teams to assist in planning and executing seasonal amenity initiatives.
- Provide logistical support and help ensure programs are delivered consistently and effectively.
- Conduct audits of the Fixtures & Chattels list for each property.
- Verify inventory accuracy and update records as required.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies and flag items requiring correction.
- Assist with the annual visual audit of parking stalls and lockers.
- Validate and reconcile reporting data to ensure accuracy.
- Support documentation updates and help maintain reliable property records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data, checklists, and documentation.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with site and corporate teams.
- Interest in real estate operations or property management is an asset.
The base salary for this position is $21.00 hourly.
