Position: Legal Administrative Assistant - Regulatory (International Trade)

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary support resource for your team, providing guidance and organizational assistance
  • Produce documents and draft correspondence
  • Open new client matters and manage related administrative processes
  • Organize and maintain documents within the document management system
  • Support billing activities, including docket review
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings
  • Maintain and update client contact information
  • Assist with tracking business development activities
  • Prepare marketing materials
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Handle conference registrations
  • Leverage technology to support legal professionals and clients efficiently and effectively
  • What You Bring

  • A Legal Assistant or Office Administration Diploma with a minimum of three years of administrative experience supporting multiple legal professionals, preferably in International Trade
  • Experience filing documents with the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT)
  • Experience supporting matters involving the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
  • Knowledge of Ontario litigation procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfort working in fast‑paced environments and within team settings
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
  • Eagerness to expand knowledge and adopt new technologies
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Helpful prior experience with Desksite, Int App, and 3E or similar software
