This role requires a graduate of a recognized Legal Secretarial or Law Clerk Program. You'll leverage your 5+ years of experience in legal administration, focusing on electronic filings with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). Proficiency in Inprotech and strong communication skills will set you up for success in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file electronic trademark applications
• Manage correspondence with CIPO and WIPO
• Monitor and remind of critical deadlines
• Handle accounting and billing procedures
• Maintain client databases and routine documentation
Requirements:
• Graduate of Legal Secretarial or Law Clerk Program
• 5+ years as a Legal Administrative Assistant
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property regulations
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
