Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong office experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with essential software tools.
This role is essential for maintaining efficient office operations while providing outstanding support to staff and clients. We value candidates who are proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Greet visitors and clients at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and specialized synagogue software.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, including document management and record keeping
- Assist with coordinating meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Support bookkeeping activities using similar accounting software for synagogues.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents
- Experience in an office environment, preferably as an administrative assistant or receptionist
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Robust computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions
- Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred; medical or dental office experience is a bonus
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
$17.20-$25.00 per hour
