Position: University Program Assistant - Full Time
Support the Department of English at the University of Toronto as a Program Assistant. This full-time position focuses on administrative support for academic programs and Teaching Assistants through June 2027.

As a Program Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for inquiries, maintain essential records, and help coordinate events.

Your role involves processing payroll, creating job postings, and ensuring that departmental databases are accurate and current. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will be invaluable to the department's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general inquiries as first contact

• Update records and maintain filing systems

• Organize events and logistical details

• Process payroll and correspondence using templates

• Manage job postings in databases

Requirements:

• College Diploma or equivalent experience

• 2 years administrative experience in education

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and customer service

• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
