Position: Temporary Full-Time Unit Clerk Baycrest
Become a key part of the team at Baycrest Long-Term Care as a Temporary Full-Time Unit Clerk. This role supports residents with cognitive challenges and involves a variety of clerical tasks.
As a Unit Clerk on Apotex 6 and 7, your responsibilities will include staff scheduling, record keeping, and logistical support for resident care. This position is ideal for individuals skilled in administrative tasks who wish to impact the lives of those living with Alzheimer's and related conditions positively. Your organizational skills will be vital in facilitating efficient operations and enhancing resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle staffing schedules in a computerized system

• Maintain staffing and attendance records accurately

• Order supplies and execute clerical duties assigned

• Schedule and coordinate resident care conferences

• Collaborate with various departments as necessary
Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant clerical experience

• Excellent keyboarding skills (40 wpm)

• Computer competency, especially in Microsoft Office

• Experience with UKG and Meditech preferred

• Familiarity with unionized environments preferred
