Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the job site.
Responsibilities- Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
- Track, record and report attendance of all site personnel, board allowance and vehicle allowance.
- Assist with the creation and submission of project billing.
- Coordinate and prepare job packages including locates & permits, materials.
- Meet and greet all visitors in a positive friendly manner.
- Maintain an organized filing system on site.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Able to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prolonged sedentary positioning.
- Daily attendance at project yard will be required.
- Experience as project administrator in a construction industry is preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills (preparation and proofreading of documents).
- Ability to show discretion with confidential and/or personal material.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with poise and confidence.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, handling various job responsibilities at once (arranging meetings, phone messages, correspondence, etc.).
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
- Professional interaction with all levels of staff within the organization from front line to senior executive.
- Always exhibit a polite and professional manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
The expected hourly wage for this position is $24/hr - $27/hr individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
