Renewal Support Specialist
We are hiring a Renewal Support Specialist to manage and support the renewal process for our benefits plans. The role involves coordination, reporting, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth renewal cycle.
Base SalaryCAD $51,383.00 - $79,261.00 per year.
Responsibilities- Monitor monthly renewal activity and gather information required to prepare upcoming renewals.
- Request preparation of required standard reports from the OSA.
- Follow up regarding renewal report with Account Managers and ensure timely delivery of approved reports.
- Manage renewal database and update status of activity from start to finish.
- File renewal and supporting documentation.
- Manage loading financial information on Advantage for renewals, plan changes, and new business.
- Prepare EP3 statements for all applicable clients.
- Provide support for the monthly Claims in Excess review.
- Prepare ASO reconciliations and transfer ASO deposit calculations in coordination with Accounting Department.
- Assist in improving departmental processes to meet departmental and company objectives.
- Manage the Group Underwriting Quote Mailbox.
- Manage the Group Underwriting Assistant Mailbox.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- 3 years of experience in benefits and/or related industries (preferred).
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma.
- Understanding of group benefits and administrative sales support function (asset).
- Superior organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, work well under pressure, be self‑reliant and focus on team success.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing responsibilities and business environment with strong attention to detail.
- Passionate, positive attitude, willingness to learn new tasks and teach internal partners and teammates.
- Committed, professional, ownership and accountability.

- Bilingual – English and French.
