Job Overview
Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full‑time temporary (6 months) Clerk 2 for the Women’s Secure Forensic Unit. The role reports to the Unit Manager and is located at 1001 Queen Street West.
Responsibilities- Provide reception and administrative/clerical support ensuring smooth operation of the unit.
- Update client databases, track census systems, liaise with Health Records, input ADT visits and admissions, maintain ANSOS and staffing, and coordinate functions related to triage and assessment.
- Complete office functions such as faxing, photocopying, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, ordering supplies, electronic and paper file management, and document preparation.
- Liaise and coordinate with other internal CAMH departments (IT, Housekeeping, Finance, Procurement, Maintenance).
- Provide direct client contact both in person and over the telephone.
- Secondary School diploma and/or special courses plus six months relevant experience.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, database and statistical programs).
- Proficient correspondence skills.
- Respect for confidential information and knowledge of privacy legislation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, time‑management, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, inter‑professional team environment.
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse ethno‑racial and cultural backgrounds.
- Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
$24.76 – $30.52 per hour.
