The Role

Reporting to the Head of Comprehensive Dance Programs, the Administrator provides administrative coordination and operational support for NBS’s Comprehensive Dance Programs, including the Young Dancers Program and Adult Ballet Program. The Administrator plays a key role in ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with NBS policies and departmental priorities.

This position supports program scheduling, student records, reporting, communications, event logistics, and day-to-day administrative operations. As a primary point of contact for students, families, teachers, and other constituents, the Administrator provides responsive and professional customer service while ensuring inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. The role also works closely with internal departments and program leadership to coordinate information,maintainaccuraterecords, support events and performances, and contribute to the successful delivery of program activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

As Administrator, Comprehensive Dance Programs, you will provide administrative and operational support across the department, including:

  • Supporting the administration of Young Dancers Program and Adult Ballet class schedules, attendance tracking, auditions, assessments, and related student activities
  • Coordinating studio reservations, A/V setup, and other eventlogisticsasrequired
  • Maintaining departmental schedules, including meetings, travel, and other administrative commitments
  • Coordinating administrative requirements for performances and demonstrations, including student lists, schedules, casting information, chaperoning logistics,…
