Aboutthe Program Support Officer Role:
The incumbent will provide direct support to academic leadership within the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, delivering a comprehensive range of services to learners, support staff, faculty, and external stakeholders. A significant focus of this role includes coordinating admissions and scheduling, providing academic support to students, and providing administrative support to the faculty, staff, and program. Additional responsibilities span administrative, program, financial, human resources, learner support, marketing, and inter‑departmental coordination.
Acting as a key resource, the Program Support Officer supports learners, facilitators, instructors, and administrators in applying Humber’s academic policies and procedures. As such, the incumbent plays a pivotal role in enhancing Humber’s adult learning environment through ongoing service improvements. The volume and diversity of interactions, especially with learners and cross‑functional teams, demands a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and customer service excellence.

Education- M inimum of a two (2) year diploma or equivalent in the following or related fields:
- Business Administration
- Human Resources
- Communications
- Social Sciences
- Health Sciences
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive administrative or student advising experience in a post-secondary environment, including:
- Experience with a variety of communication platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Teams, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
