TMX Datalinx implements innovative technology and data‑driven solutions that enrich the client experience across the capital‑markets community. As the Senior Product Manager, you will define and execute Datalinx’s private‑asset data product strategy, driving revenue and profitability growth.
Responsibilities- Product Strategy & Roadmap
:
Develop and execute on the private asset data strategy, conduct market landscape and competitive analysis, and prioritize product roadmap items based on customer feedback and business objectives. - Product Definition & Development
:
Lead partnership identification, advise on buy‑vs‑build decisions, develop commercial models, and drive product results including revenue and market penetration. - Go‑to‑Market Strategy
:
Create and execute comprehensive go‑to‑market plans for new products and partnerships, positioning, pricing, messaging, and sales enablement. - Vendor & Partnership Management
:
Manage vendor relationships and ensure data source quality, while collaborating on pricing and commercial models. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration
:
Work with development, sales, marketing, legal, and other internal teams to launch and adopt products, communicating changes and performance to stakeholders. - Market Intelligence
:
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new product opportunities. - Data Analysis
:
Analyze data to identify trends, measure product performance, and inform data‑driven decisions. - ESG Product Support
:
Support ESG strategy, product integration, and sales engineering for existing ESG offerings.
- Minimum 7 years of product management or investment experience in private assets (private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate).
- Solid understanding of the investment lifecycle and how data and research systems support it.
- Experience with portfolio construction and management for private assets.
- Strong relationship building skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Validated quantitative analysis and/or financial engineering skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication.
- Self‑starter, adaptable to a dynamic, fast‑paced team environment.
- Excellent presentation skills for audiences ranging from peers to executive level.
