What began as a gameday experience now drives year-round excitement across Ontario and Nova Scotia, raising millions of dollars annually for children in Jays Care programming while awarding millions of dollars in life-changing prizes to Blue Jays fans.

Role SummaryThe Manager, Lotteries is an operator and strategist who ensures Jays Care’s raffle division runs flawlessly and delivers maximum revenue, impact, and customer satisfaction. This role manages in-stadium operations, raffle licensing and compliance, prize procurement, customer service, website execution, and data-driven optimization.
This is a highly cross‑functional, high‑visibility role with meaningful ownership of one of the Jays Care’s most important revenue engines.
Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Service- Lead and support in-stadium 50/50 sales team of 70+ employees, ensuring strong sales performance, exceptional customer interactions, and a positive game‑day culture.
- Maintain a strong in‑game presence at Rogers Centre and support staff throughout the season, including games and non‑game events.
- Lead customer support team and ensure responses to all customer inquiries via email and phone are conducted with professionalism, accuracy, and urgency.
- Support customer surveys and convert feedback into insights that inform future creative, operational, and product decisions.
- Oversee all licensing requirements for Ontario and Nova Scotia, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Jays Care Legal to prepare and submit ongoing regulatory documents, such as Terms & Conditions and Rules of Play.
- Execute all mandatory regulatory sales reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead procurement of all raffle prizes, including marquee experiences, memorabilia, etc., prioritizing customer appeal and ROI.
- Draw all raffle prizes, coordinate winner outreach, and oversee prompt prize fulfillment and logistics.
- Manage the 50/50 Shopify website, ensuring content is always accurate, compliant, and optimized.
- Track and analyze KPIs including website traffic, conversion, sales, average order value, and product mix.
- Create reports and visualizations supporting real‑time decision-making.
- Benchmark competitive lottery programs and emerging trends, bringing forward insights that strengthen our strategy and customer experience.
- Post‑secondary degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Statistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional written, oral, and visual communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools and platforms such as SQL, Google Analytics, Shopify, Excel, Iterable, or similar.
- Experience in revenue generation, customer experience, and/ or performance optimization.
- Highly organized with excellent judgment, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with internal teams, vendors, regulators, and senior leadership.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and Blue Jays gamedays.
- Passion for philanthropy and a strong connection to Jays Care’s mission.
- Knowledge of baseball and passion for the Toronto Blue Jays.
