Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a territory of existing and greenfield Enterprise accounts by providing a consultative selling approach that helps customers solve industry‑specific procurement challenges.
  • Drive and accelerate spend adoption by advising new and existing customers on best practices for using Amazon Business strategically.
  • Work closely with Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Product, Marketing and other key internal Amazon stakeholders to ensure customer success.
  • Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities across public sector organizations with key C‑level executives, inclusive of Finance and Procurement.
  • Relay market needs, customer feedback, and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product, Technical, and Category Management teams.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to provide critical updates on key deals in the pipeline and insights learned during implementation and throughout the customer journey.
  • Educate and network with key prospect and customer contacts.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying and pursuing a large number of accounts over the phone, with ability to close in person
  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience
  • Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large‑scale technology deal
