Who you are:

The Senior Manager Sr Manager, Solution Architect leads a team of five MTIs who provide technical, operational, and strategic support to the Consumer Major Accounts (CMA) sales teams. This role is pivotal in enabling the sales organization to successfully position and deliver Rogers Smart Community solutions to new construction and retrofit multi‑dwelling units (MDUs). The Senior Manager will report directly to the Sr.

Director, Sales Operations.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of MTIs, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure team success in supporting CMA sales initiatives.
  • Partner with CMA sales teams to drive adoption and sales of Rogers Smart Community solutions, acting as the technical subject matter expert.
  • Oversee the design assist approach, solution validation, and technology integration for building technology projects (new construction and retrofits).
  • Ensure MTIs coordinate with vendors, property managers, and internal stakeholders to confirm site readiness, delivery timelines, and installation plans.
  • Manage weekly coordination calls with vendors and RSC engineers to maintain visibility on project status and proactively address installation or delivery delays.
  • Oversee onboarding of residents and property management to the Rogers Smart Community platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Support technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and billing issues, acting as a secondary escalation point for complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Billing, IT, Finance) to implement new billing codes, sales tracking mechanisms, and reporting logic for Smart Community deployments.
  • Analyze sales results, produce insights, and recommend improvements to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including managed services providers, vendors, and building stakeholders.
  • Represent the MTI team in strategic planning sessions, product launches, and training initiatives.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in technology integration, sales support, or operations within the construction, telecommunications, or smart building industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
  • Strong technical acumen in building technology, IoT, and managed services.
  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting sales enablement and driving process improvements in a B2B context.
