Job SummaryLead the distribution of the full platform across Canada, building relationships with institutional investors, consultants, and cross‑selling opportunities. Work with product, portfolio, client solutions, marketing and client relationships to achieve new business goals and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities- Market segmentation and prospecting: develop and implement a regional market segmentation strategy, build a sales pipeline, and raise awareness of SLC’s capabilities.
- Sales: own the entire sales cycle, from target analysis to RFP management, meetings, follow‑up and contract negotiation.
- Collaboration:
build relationships with affiliate companies to promote solutions, coordinate market approach, and develop less experienced team members. - Brand and market presence: present investment solutions to prospects, consultants and industry organisations, promote the SLC brand at conferences and industry outlets.
- Product knowledge: maintain expertise across SLC’s full range of products and systems.
- Proven track record of successful marketing to institutional investors.
- Experience with foundations, endowments, first nations, and Ontario & Western Canada institutional investors is an asset.
- CFA and/or FCIA (or in pursuit), CAIA preferred.
- Strong fixed‑income knowledge; investment‑grade private credit and private markets experience is an asset.
- Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence.
- Strategic thinking, innovative problem‑solving.
- Team player with a positive, tenacious attitude.
- Willingness to travel regularly.

CA $126,000 – CA $210,000 per year, plus discretionary annual incentive and comprehensive benefits.
