Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Consumer Insights & Research Manager owns consumer insights, research, and data analytics for Lindt Canada. This role is accountable for translating consumer, shopper, and market data into actionable insights that drive brand, category, and commercial growth. The position serves as the central owner of Nielsen and syndicated data reporting and is a key strategic partner to Marketing, Category Management, Sales, and Global teams.

Consumer,

Category & Market Understanding
  • Build a deep understanding of consumer needs, shopper behavior, category dynamics, and competitive activity
  • Identify category triggers and barriers across the consumer journey to inform marketing and innovation strategies
  • Monitor consumer, category, and industry trends and recommend proactive actions
Insights, Analytics & Reporting Ownership
  • Own and lead all consumer insights, research, and data analytics for Lindt Canada
  • Serve as the primary owner of Nielsen and syndicated data reporting, ensuring consistent, accurate, and actionable insights across the business
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and insights outputs to support brand, category, and commercial decision-making
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Research Strategy & Execution
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research, including idea screening, concept testing, and ad hoc initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end research projects in partnership with global teams and external agencies (e.g., IPSOS, CCM, qualitative immersions)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external research partners and the Global Insights team
Capability Building & Governance
  • Champion an insights- and data-driven culture across the commercial organization
  • Increase data and consumer insights literacy through training, tools, and guidance
  • Manage research planning, reporting, and timelines aligned with budget and financial cycles (BU, LE1/LE2)
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of consumer insights or marketing experience in CPG
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven ability to translate complex findings into actionable business insights
  • Strong analytical and research skills with expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within budget and timelines
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset with a track record of personal and professional development

Rewards

Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $90-$115K CAD per annum with a 20% performance-based bonus. The final agreement uponsalarymay vary based on market location and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
