The Senior Technology Strategy Analyst will be responsible for supporting Technology Strategy in all aspects of long-term strategic planning initiatives. This role involves developing and managing financial models, reviewing materials and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, financial modelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
What you'll do:- Develop and maintain complex business models to support long-term planning
- Lead financial modeling and analysis for partner engagements/negotiations including market sizing, modeling deal term scenarios, and P&L forecasting
- Analyze materials and prepare recommendations
- Assist in driving cross functional strategic initiatives
- Develop market research analysis and identify industry trends
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects
- Identify and quantify value creation opportunities, building financial models and business plans to gain buy-in
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for leadership
- 3-5 years in a strategic planning role
- Advanced business acumen, including strategic thinking, financial literacy, and understanding of enterprise operations
- Experience in the telecommunications or technology sector is a plus
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of mapping tools such as QGIS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and a thoughtful, diligent and proactive approach to gathering information
- Strong attention to detail
- Takes initiative and has a curiosity to learn more about the telecom industry
- Strong communication skills and collaborator
- MBA is a plus
