Position Overview

CDEV is seeking an Associate to join its high-performing team of experienced professionals. Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture and will be responsible for being a key partner to managers and employees across the organization. You’ll provide hands‑on support and strategic advice in areas such as recruitment and onboarding; performance and talent management; compensation and benefits administration; organizational development and employee engagement;

and HR data reporting and compliance. You will play an active role in shaping the employee experience, helping to ensure CDEV has the right talent, organization design, and culture to succeed.

The selected candidate will be based in either Toronto or Ottawa, currently with a hybrid work option.

Responsibilities
  • Develop workforce plans and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the management of end‑to‑end recruitment processes
  • Deliver effective onboarding practices that create a positive and engaging employee experience
  • Support the delivery of performance management programs that drive accountability, development, and recognition
  • Support organizational initiatives that drive high employee engagement, a positive workplace culture and organizational effectiveness
  • Contribute to the delivery of training and development programs that promote continued professional growth and high performance
  • Assist with compensation processes, salary reviews, benefits administration, and pay equity compliance
  • Provide guidance on total rewards and ensure programs are delivered with consistency and transparency
