Senior Manager, Business Insights
Role Description
Your Role:
As Sr. Manager, Business Insights, you will be responsible for deeply immersing in customer, market, and competitive data to uncover insights that drive strategic and operational decisions, helping to maximize business growth opportunities. While providing support for forecasting activities, this role's primary focus will be transforming data into actionable strategies that influence key business outcomes.
This is a hybrid role, based out of LEO’s downtown, Toronto office.
Your Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, patient and prescriber behaviours, and payer dynamics to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Partner with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Access teams to deliver data-driven insights that influence strategy, resource allocation, and operational planning.
Support forecasting teams by collaborating on predictive modelling, scenario planning, and assumption development, ensuring data alignment with corporate demand planning and supply chain functions.
Leverage advanced analytics to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
Provide analytical support for evaluating business cases in both the current portfolio and pipeline, helping guide investment and product strategy decisions.
Establish and enhance processes for collecting, integrating, and analyzing market intelligence to ensure consistent, high-quality strategic insights across the organization.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to share market findings and ensure alignment across teams.
Provide omni-channel insights and data to support patient omni-channel marketer.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA preferred.
8–10 years of progressive experience in forecasting, business analytics, or market insights, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Ability to anticipate market trends and proactively adapt forecasting strategies.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and analytics into clear, actionable business insights for senior stakeholders.
Understanding of Canadian healthcare and pharmaceutical market dynamics, including payer, provider, and patient segments or markets.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
