The OpportunityWe are seeking a Toronto or Montreal-based professional with 2 to 5 years of experience in Lean and Operational Excellence, preferably in a consulting environment, to join Kaizen Institute, a globally respected leader in lean consulting.
As a Process Improvement Consultant, you will partner with clients to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable continuous improvement initiatives. 🔎 What we expect from youYour role includes the following responsibilities:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Map and assess end-to-end processes to uncover inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Lead and facilitate transformation and redesign workshops with client teams.
- Redesign operations to drive measurable performance improvements.
- Translate strategic objectives into practical, executable solutions.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role carried out at customer sites, with direct access to decision-makers and leadership teams
- Bachelor's Degree:
In business, engineering, or a related field. - Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Lean and Operational Excellence, or related areas.
- Legal permission to work in Canada, without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Passion for process improvement:
Experience and a strong interest in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.). Coursework or projects demonstrating this are a plus. - Analytical mindset:
Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify trends, and root causes of inefficiencies. - Excellent communication:
Ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. - Client-centric:
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. - Eagerness to learn: A proactive attitude and desire to grow professionally within the field of operational excellence.
