Aboutthe Role
The Strategy & Operations Associate role is for self‑motivated, curious, and ownership‑minded individuals who think through a customer‑first lens, thrive on solving complex problems using data, collaborate across all levels of the organization, and execute their ideas efficiently.
The candidate will be a key contributor to the Consumer Experience team, primarily responsible for building the in‑app merchandising experience for strategic bets across Door Dash Canada. The scope will include supporting key campaigns by creating the right experiences and strategies for customer growth, leveraging data to optimize existing and new initiatives. Success will be measured on the ability to support and hit OKRs as they relate to the above.
This role will be part of the Customer Growth team and report to the Strategy & Operations Manager.
Responsibilities- Build – You are excited to work on something that hasn't been done before. Your job will include building experiences and launching plans from the ground up.
- Strategize – Develop Door Dash's path to excellence using first principles and empathy, identify trends that emerge and know when to double down and when to try something new.
- Experiment – Use data to run tests on everything from promotional campaigns to new in‑app creative assets.
- Analyze – Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions and iterate given insights. Continuously seek new improvements that can be made to the experience leveraging performance data.
- Collaborate – Work with a variety of teams including marketing, merchant, product, engineering, finance and analytics to execute on plans.
- You thrive both as a generalist and specialist who can build the overarching strategy and dive deep into specific issues and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- You are a self‑starter who is biased toward action and excels in a fast‑paced environment and evolving business.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross‑functional teams, including product, marketing, finance, and legal.
- You are a problem solver and can identify the core problem and determine hypotheses with proposed solutions.
- You are comfortable using SQL to analyze data and create new data tables, and are able to build dashboards to track key metrics and build high‑level financial models.
- You have 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, digital marketing, growth, investment banking, consulting or other related areas.
- You have experience using Figma or Adobe After Effects to develop creative assets.
- You have experience using Claude Code.
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia: $86,500—$108,000 CAD.
