Manager, Corporate Strategy – Analysis, Capital One Canada

The Manager of Business Analysis will drive strategic initiatives across the Canada Card space, identifying new business opportunities, evaluating market dynamics, and delivering data‑driven solutions that influence the long‑term success of Capital One Canada.

• Strategic leadership:
  Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior, and to drive business to meet long‑term goals.
• Business ownership:
  Own business cases with a P&L mindset and accountability.
• Strategic planning:
  Lead planning initiatives with 1‑6 month horizons.
• Leadership:
  Evolve to manage and develop a team of analysts.
• Coaching and mentoring:
  Guide associates across the organization to develop talent.
• Execution:
  Coordinate and collaborate across the business to manage and sequence delivery of business cases, build requirements, and execute against the growth strategy.
• Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
• Partnership:
  Partner with Tech, Marketing, Operations, Finance and other teams to drive improvements in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Strategic & analytic orientation:
  Demonstrate a proven track record of decision‑making and problem‑solving based on rigorous analytics.
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity:
  Bring a tenacious, aggressive yet responsible approach to business.

• Previous consulting experience is a plus.

• Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of quantitative analysis/financial modeling experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing high‑impact projects.
  • At least 2 years of competitive/market analysis experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
  • At least 2 years of Corporate Strategy, Strategy Consulting, Strategy & Operations, and/or Business Development experience.
  • At least 1 year of people‑management experience.
  • Experience working with a broad stakeholder group, including senior leaders and executives.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $157,400 to $179,600, with eligibility for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es).
