Overview
What We Need Corpay is hiring a Compensations Analyst within our Variable Sales Compensation division. This position falls under Corpay Cross Border and is located in Toronto, ON. The Compensation Analyst works closely with business leaders and the Compensation Manager to administer sales variable compensation calculations, model ROI analyses, and deliver reporting including management reports, presentations, and documenting business processes.
This is a critical role in the organization as this team manages variable compensation for 400+ headcount, involving various levels of corporate strategies with real-time compensation analytics, business intelligence tools, and in-house platforms. You will report to the Manager of Variable Sales Compensation and regularly collaborate with the team and other departments.

The responsibilities of the role include supporting regional sales leaders, the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, and the Compensation Manager in the administration of global sales variable compensation and calculations, including commissions, sales bonuses, and incentives.
- Run monthly sales commission processes for various roles across the different geographies we operate in.
- Maintain compensation structures on required systems based on Commission Plans.
- Build and model pay-for-performance sales commissions and incentive plans for various roles from inside sales to senior sales management to drive improved business performance.
- Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive payouts for sales and leadership roles with accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer and track individual performance under sales incentive programs.
- Measure sales performance against established KPIs.
- Engage with business leaders on sales ROI and promote new incentives to motivate the sales team for growth.
- Analyze, reconcile, and audit commission and incentive calculations to ensure compliance with approved plans and policies.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sales programs.
- Respond to inquiries regarding compensation payout, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in automation of key processes and maintain regular reports.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current processes to increase efficiency and add value-added analytics.
- Introduce new analysis and reporting formats providing insights to different areas of the business.
- Provide support on integrations and other special projects to improve internal business processes, including defining business needs into product requirements.
- Support a variety of special compensation projects to improve internal processes.
- Assist in implementing solutions for variable compensation reporting and modeling.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all compensation-related processes, systems, and procedures.
- Support special compensation and partnership revenue share projects to improve internal processes.
- Assist in implementing solutions for variable compensation and partner revenue share reporting and modeling.
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in sales compensation and data analytics.
- Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Compensation modeling, incentive plan administration.
- Data analysis, reconciliation, and data mapping.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft SQL and VBA/Macros.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of CRM (Salesforce).
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including well-developed conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize work with a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Proven track record as a strong collaborator in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, diverse environment.
