Co‑op Student, Commercial ManagementOur Commercial Management department within the Legal division seeks a co‑op student. You will work with internal stakeholders to provide analytical support in the completion of required tasks and deliverables.
What will I be doing?- Assist with day‑to‑day activities for all Oracle Requisition s and Invoice Management to meet established objectives and prepare detailed and timely reports for approval.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to collect data, respond to queries and exchange information.
- Support and coordinate requirements and information for Purchase Requisition s/Purchase Orders and other supporting activities.
- Support information flow across projects with Metrolinx teams, by participating in meetings and supporting coordination activities.
- Provide assistance and support to staff in a variety of areas, including gathering, inputting, organizing, and interpreting data for reports, presentations, meetings, and projects.
Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
- Must be enrolled in a full‑time accredited co‑op program.
- Must be at least 15 years of age before starting employment.
- Enrolled in Business Administration or a similar program at a post‑secondary institution.
- Ability to analyze information and interpret complex issues.
- Capacity for problem‑solving, taking initiative, and proactively addressing issues, working within a team environment.
- Previous experience working within a business environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across various departments and levels of the organization.
- Competence in software such as Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to Power BI would be an asset.
