Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is the payments and transaction engine of Scotiabank, supporting Small Business, Commercial and Corporate clients with effective treasury management solutions and best‑in‑class service. This position is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
PurposeThis position will act as a strategic and operational partner, supporting the leadership of the Client Services team. The role ensures efficient execution of business priorities, drives operational discipline, coordinates cross‑functional initiatives, and provides data‑driven insights to improve client and employee satisfaction.
What You'll Do- Partner closely with the Client Service head to drive strategic initiatives and operational priorities
- Translate leadership vision into actionable plans, track progress, and ensure timely execution
- Support planning, business reviews, and goal setting for the client service organization
- Prepare executive updates, reports and business insights
- Monitor performance and service delivery KPIs
- Manage operational processes, governance routines and leadership cadence
- Ensure alignment across teams on key initiatives, priorities and delivery timelines
- Identify trends in client and organizational behavior, service performance and operational efficiency
- Provide recommendations for leadership based on analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, strategy or program management
- Experience supporting senior leadership or working in a business support role is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and business analytics tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Standard office‑based environment; non‑standard hours are common
