Cpg Trade Analyst

This role supports the trade promotions lifecycle through accurate data entry, validation, and analysis within the Exceedra trade management system. Responsibilities include maintaining deal data, investigating and resolving trade deductions, reconciling promotional spend, and preparing KPI and performance reports. The role partners closely with internal CPG sales teams and the TLC broker to ensure alignment between trade activity and financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of experience in CPG, retail, supply chain, or operations, with a robust attention to detail and comfort working with trade promotion data, deductions, and analytics. This role is located in downtown Toronto, 5 days a week in person is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
• 2+ years of relevant experience in trade management, CPG, or a similar analytical role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reconciliation, and data management)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to develop practical recommendations and solutions
• Familiarity with CPG trade promotions is an asset
• Experience with trade management systems (e.g., Exceedra) is an asset
• Automation skills (e.g., Excel macros or process automation) are an asset
