Job Description
This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and in‑office working.

Team OverviewAs part of the Corporate Development Team, the Manager, Corporate Development (Case Lead) will provide high‑quality business and strategy consulting, support corporate development and M&A initiatives, and build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders. The role eventually will lead a team of corporate development professionals and may collaborate with the Fidelity Business Consulting team.
What You Will Do- Business Consulting – Provide high‑quality advice to senior‑level stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
- Strategy Consulting – Contribute to and lead exercises that assess, develop, and execute winning strategies.
- Corporate Development – Support financing, sourcing, qualification, diligence, and execution of corporate development actions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Competitor & Market Research – Generate insight from trends, disruptions, innovations, and challenges that may impact our industry, markets, and business propositions.
- Stakeholder Presentations and Discussions – Design and lead presentations, report progress, and guide discussions with working teams, steering committees, and executive leadership.
- People & Team Management – Effectively manage internal teams to deliver projects while empowering and developing individuals.
- Substantial experience deploying core strategy consulting skills; skilled problem‑solver.
- Experience with business strategy and innovation frameworks used to advise organizations.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills with confidence to engage and challenge senior managers.
- Very strong project‑management skills.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Independent, curious, risk‑taker; thrives in a fast‑paced, changing environment with tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of financial acumen.
- Ability to build relationships across functions and levels; demonstrable experience navigating large, multi‑disciplinary organizations.
- Strong individual and team‑leadership capabilities.
- Base salary and discretionary performance bonus with a competitive annual range of $158,000 to $188,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- RRSP contribution after six months of employment; no employee matching required.
