Cella by Randstad Digital is currently seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager to join a leading financial institution’s Human Resources Learning & Development (L&D) team in Toronto. This one-year contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion focuses on leading mid-to-high complexity training initiatives. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 4 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership:
    Lead the end‑to‑end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, ensuring delivery remains on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • L&D Implementation:
    Drive processes to implement diverse learning solutions, including virtual/in-person instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, and self-directed learner pathways.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Develop and implement engagement strategies for both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and reporting progress at various leadership levels.
  • Risk & Governance:
    Maintain tight governance control, actively managing and resolving risks and issues while conducting project retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management:
    Support the selection, engagement, and onboarding of third‑party vendors when external learning solutions are required.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    Align individual project movements with broader business priorities and long‑term delivery strategies.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Project Management, specifically focused on Learning & Development or HR‑related initiatives.
  • Proven experience working within the Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services sectors.
  • High proficiency in MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
  • Solid experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and hybrid project practices.
  • Post-secondary education is required; PMP certification and Agile certifications are highly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse business partners.
