Overview

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Manager, Customer Segments (Partnerships) to drive growth within youth and student customer segments through innovative campus and community partnerships. This role will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies that enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across domestic and international student populations, as well as broader youth audiences.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with post‑secondary institutions, student organizations, community groups, and strategic partners while collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver impactful and compliant customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with post‑secondary institutions, student associations, international student offices, and youth‑focused organizations.
  • Create and execute customer acquisition and engagement initiatives across campus and non‑campus channels.
  • Lead partnership strategies aligned with key customer lifecycle moments including admissions, student onboarding, back‑to‑school periods, and early career transitions.
  • Manage sponsor ships, co‑branded programs, and scalable partnership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Branch teams to deliver integrated customer experiences.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through emerging partnerships, community ecosystems, and alternative channels.
  • Analyze campaign and partnership performance to optimize acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to enhance segment strategies.
  • Develop business cases, executive presentations, and partnership proposals for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage partner onboarding processes, contract administration, payments, and expense tracking.
  • Lead marketing campaigns targeting post‑secondary students, including stakeholder engagement and executive‑level presentations.
Required Qualifications Required Technical & Professional Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Partnerships, Strategy, Business Development, Consulting, Customer Growth, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic external partnerships.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Experience developing business cases, partnership proposals, and executive presentations.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Sound business judgment with a strong risk management mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of youth, student, newcomer, and international student customer segments.
  • Experience developing acquisition, engagement, or retention strategies.
  • Exposure to sponsorship management and co‑branded partnership programs.
  • Solid presentation and storytelling skills utilizing visual and executive‑ready materials.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with post‑secondary institutions, student associations, international student offices, or youth‑focused organizations.
  • Banking, retail banking, financial services, fintech, or customer growth experience.
  • Experience supporting newcomer or international student‑focused initiatives.
