This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities across private, corporate, and governmental sectors, including prospecting, networking, and attending industry events. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client security needs, and collaborating with internal security specialists to shape tailored proposals and solutions.

The role involves preparing and delivering presentations, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts within established guidelines, and tracking performance against revenue targets. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends and competitors, provide feedback to leadership on service offerings, and maintain accurate CRM records and reports.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management - security, risk management, or related professional services an asset.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills with private, corporate, and public-sector clients.
  • Ability to assess client needs and work with our operational team to shape tailored proposals.
  • Confident preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Comfortable managing a pipeline in CRM and reporting against revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information and security-conscious clients.
  • Based in the GTA with ability to travel to client locations; valid driver's license an advantage.
