Pay Details$96,900 - $136,800 CAD
Responsibilities- Assist Senior Managers in supporting business line senior executives.
- Act as liaison with business partners and provide direction and support to enable TD and business‑specific objectives and goals.
- Present research findings and make recommendations to management that support category and business partner strategies.
- Lead or assist with supplier negotiations/RFPs to maximize price/performance in a given category and work with business partners to influence or intervene in supplier negotiations when necessary.
- Ensure the team adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to overall business management activities.
- Lead relationships with corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
- Support the team in staying knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank.
- Assess, identify key issues, and Escalate to appropriate stakeholders and business management as required.
- Identify, mitigate, and report on risk issues per enterprise policy/guidance and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed.
- Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g., financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, physical control of assets).
- Lead relationships with business lines, corporate, and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
- Lead or contribute to cross‑functional/enterprise initiatives as an organizational or subject matter expert helping to identify risk and provide guidance for complex situations.
- Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalates non‑standard, high‑risk transactions/activities as necessary.
- Manage oversight process, risk‑based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance across supported functions, while ensuring key controls and processes are effectively managed.
- Oversee or lead the facilitation and/or implementation of action or remediation plans to address performance, risk, or governance issues.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assess potential impacts.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
- Strong knowledge in procurement and sourcing practices.
- Ability to conduct supplier negotiations and RFPs.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to analyze research and present recommendations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and risk management.
- Post‑secondary education.
- 7+ years of related experience.
Generally reports to a Senior Group Manager, Strategic Sourcing or Executive.
