Senior Strategy and Operations Associate

We are seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate to join our Strategy & Operations team. This role is available to candidates in either Vancouver or Toronto.

Strategy & Operations sits at the center of our business. Our team is broadly responsible for establishing our corporate strategy in partnership with the C‑Suite, Product, Corporate Development and Finance, as well as scaling Clio’s operating rhythm as the company grows.

As a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll be aligned to a set of business segments where you’ll support the General Manager/ Product Manager in determining immediate and long‑term business strategy, facilitating annual planning, setting OKRs, building business/investment cases, and supporting our business review rituals to measure performance, seize opportunities, and course‑correct as needed. You will bring an objective eye, outside thinking, and a holistic company perspective to the domain experts and leaders at Clio.

• Synthesize business insights to help quantify, frame and evaluate trade‑offs to deviations from operational targets and prepare executive‑level presentations in support of key business reviews.
• Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with the respective business leaders.
• Lead research on growth opportunities through market sizing, assessing the competitive landscape, collaborating on product strategy and differentiation, establishing go‑to‑market fundamentals, and modeling the financials.
• Support product strategy by building long‑range strategic plans and supporting product operations & analytics to assess and manage performance as well as R&D ROI.
• Facilitate the synthesis of cross‑functional research and analysis, summarize strategic insights to develop business cases and implementation plans.
• Provide general analytical support for operational and strategic decisions across the Company.
• Operate as an embedded strategic management consultant and resource.

This role is a backfill for an existing position.

• 4‑6 years of work experience in a relevant field (e.g., strategy & operations, product strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business development).
• Experience with market sizing, competitive landscaping, and financial modeling.
• Strong focus on strategic thinking and analytical problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self‑motivation, independence, and deadline orientation.
• Understanding of how to measure and evaluate performance across all business functions.
• Strong ability to query, analyze, and synthesize insights using a variety of datasets.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.

• MBA.
• Biz Ops experience in a high‑growth tech company.

Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. The expected salary range for this role is $106,300 to $143,700 CAD, depending on location and experience. Other benefits include competitive health, dental, and vision insurance; a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in the office at least twice per week for local Clions in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City , and Sydney;
