The Bilingual Change Management Lead in the Stakeholder Management Unit at Supply Ontario is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide high‑touch support and engagement with over 6,000 public sector organizations across the province.
Using your stakeholder engagement and change management experience, you will be responsible for planning and implementing stakeholder engagement plans to ensure Supply Ontario’s programs are successful. You will assess interest and curate meaningful relationships with key stakeholders with the goal of implementing and advancing various programs to support supply chain management and procurement strategies, policies, and best practices.
The position requires the ability to develop and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external cross‑functional stakeholders to support the delivery of procurement for the public sector.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans and strategies for Supply Ontario programs.
- Conducting needs assessments across public sector entities to engage stakeholders in the development of procurement strategies and policies, ensuring that stakeholder requirements are effectively addressed.
- Establishing and developing relationships across multiple sectors in public procurement.
- Partnering with Supply Ontario departments in various engagements to realise organization objectives.
- Developing change management plans and supporting the change management function of various initiatives introduced to stakeholders.
- Developing and facilitating training for internal teams and stakeholders to promote the adoption of procurement policies and best practices.
- Preparing and presenting reports, briefing notes, presentations, issues analysis, risk assessments, and other materials for stakeholders on a wide range of matters.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Bilingualism in both French and English is a requirement.
- 6-8 years of professional experience, with a focus on change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and executing stakeholder engagement plans with expertise in change management and stakeholder management principles, best practices, and methods.
- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills
, including written, oral, and presentation abilities, with tactfulness to engage stakeholders at all levels and manage diverse perspectives. - Demonstrated political acuity and ability to manage multiple perspectives from various stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and relationship‑building skills
, with the ability to lead both with and without positional authority, and a passion for stakeholder outreach. - Demonstrated analytical skills to consolidate feedback, develop hypotheses and/or strategic responses, consistent with corporate objectives.
- Superior research and writing skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in dealing with customers (internal and external) in a professional and service‑focused environment.
- Influence and negotiation skills; ability to persuade or influence others to adopt or accept a point of view or take a course of action.
- Self‑motivated; ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as a team player and/or team leader.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in change management, project management, lean six sigma, organizational development would be considered an asset.
