You own commercial performance for Ayming Canada (the number, the team, and the marketing engine that feeds it), executing the existing strategy and building the Canadian marketing function in partnership with Group.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the national Sales & Marketing strategy across Canada.
- Translate business objectives into actionable commercial plans and measurable KPIs.
- Identify new revenue streams and develop hunting approaches in a mature, competitive market.
- Drive performance through structured forecasting, pipeline management and data-driven decision‑making.
- Lead and develop a team of Sales Directors, strengthening ownership, accountability and performance culture.
- Implement robust performance tracking, structured one‑to‑ones and clear sales governance.
- Commercial leadership credibility in professional services, tax advisory, or technical consulting, where deals are won through expertise and trust over a longer arc.
- Personally support strategic deals and key client relationships when needed.
- Own and lead the go‑to‑market strategy across content, ABM, events, brand, and partner marketing initiatives in collaboration with Group Marketing.
- Drive MQL and SQL generation, with clear accountability for pipeline contribution and growth targets.
- Build and scale marketing and demand generation processes from the ground up.
- Ensure strong collaboration between Sales and Marketing to maximize conversion and market impact.
- Build and manage strategic referral partnerships with accounting firms, law firms, and innovation ecosystem organizations across Canada.
- Develop relationships with innovation hubs and industry networks, including organizations such as MaRS Discovery District, Communitech, IVADO, and Scale AI.
- Partner with Consulting, Operations, and Finance to ensure excellent commercial execution.
- Act as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the broader Canadian growth strategy.
- Partner closely with Group Marketing and Group Commercial leadership to align Canadian go‑to‑market execution with global standards, while leveraging and adapting best practices and successful strategies from other geographies.
- Achieve agreed annual bookings and revenue growth targets within the first 12 months.
- Build and maintain healthy pipeline coverage ratios to support long‑term commercial growth objectives.
- Increase contribution of marketing‑ and partner‑generated opportunities to overall pipeline and bookings.
- Successfully hire, structure, and onboard key commercial and marketing team members to support Canadian growth plans.
- Establish scalable sales and go‑to‑market processes aligned with business expansion objectives.
- Deliver measurable growth in strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and market presence across Canada.
- 10-15 years of experience in commercial leadership in professional services, tax advisory, consulting or technical B2B.
- Demonstrated ability to lead markets, scale teams, and translate strategy into operational execution.
- KPI‑driven, business‑oriented and growth‑focused mindset.
- Track record of carrying a number and building a marketing function.
- Strong leadership presence – senior enough to inspire trust and challenge stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments involving technical, regulatory, or compliance‑driven products and services.
- Fluent in English and French strongly preferred.
